The BMW BERLIN-MARATHON 2024 on TV
Starting signal for the 50th BMW BERLIN-MARATHON on RTL! In cooperation with SCC EVENTS, the Cologne-based channel will be broadcasting this year's anniversary event live for the first time on 29 September from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm. Presenter Laura Papendick and German running legend Sabrina ‘Mocki’ Mockenhaupt will jointly lead the broadcast under the motto: Records, Emotions, Party! René Hiepen will commentate on the major event, in which over 50,000 runners, skaters, handbikers and wheelchair users will take part. The anniversary run will also be available to watch on RTL+.
The unique atmosphere will be captured by live reporters Birgit von Bentzel, Marcel Klein and Marc Chmiel, who will be standing at the most popular cheering points along the route. From Monday (23 September), Vivian Bahlmann and Marc Chmiel will be reporting daily from Berlin on Germany's biggest running event. In addition to the live coverage, the BMW BERLIN-MARATHON will be accompanied by extensive pre- and post-event reporting on all platforms throughout the week.
