Who we are
SCC EVENTS is one of the major international players in the field of sporting events and has been organising major sporting events in the endurance sports segment for almost 50 years.
As an independent limited company, SCC EVENTS is a 100% subsidiary of the large and renowned Sport-Club Charlottenburg, which is one of the top sports clubs in Berlin with almost 8,000 members. The club concept is therefore part of our DNA!
As part of the club, we live a modern club philosophy, enjoy using synergies and work hand in hand to support charitable causes and to develop and maintain a diverse range of sports for all Berliners. We are supported by our advisory board of around 20 members, a loose association of representatives from politics, business and sport and a motivator for networking and innovation.

We are a team of over 70 sports and event enthusiasts, creative and passionate people who spare no effort to pursue our goal together: To make every event the best event for our participants.
As part of the sports metropolis Berlin, we move Berlin. And the world.
In 2018, we also founded the Marathon Team Berlin.

Our core competence is the organisation of sports events in the fields of running, swimming and cycling. Our experience and expertise goes back almost 50 years. From the smaller New Year's Run and medium-sized neighbourhood Kiez Run with a few thousand participants to large international professional and popular sporting events such as the GENERALI BERLIN HALF MARATHON and the legendary BMW BERLIN-MARATHON with several tens of thousands of participants. The BMW BERLIN-MARATHON is considered the fastest course in the world with twelve world records achieved, 9 of which have occurred since 2001. The BMW BERLIN-MARATHON is the largest marathon in Germany!
